SAN FRANCISCO, December 27, (THEWILL) – Big Brother Naija 2019 winner, Mercy Eke, has opened up concerning rumours that she tested positive for COVID-19.
THEWILL notes that there were reports that the reality star had tested positive for the dreaded virus and infected the likes of Uti Uwachukwu and others after she partied in public places.
Reacting, Mercy took to her Twitter page debunking the rumour, saying that the rumour is based on hatred and jealousy to damage her reputation.
She wrote: “I can’t even fathom how people will be so wicked and blinded by hatred and jealousy to always try to tarnish my image.”
She said that she never tested positive for COVID-19.
“I don’t have COVID-19 and COVID is not a death sentence like you all are making it look. @VedicLifecare confirmed me negative lets spread love.” She tweeted.
She added that she would make it public if she ever tests positive for the virus.
“If I have COVID-19, I will be the one to tell you what all, as we approach 2021 let us be more positive,” she added.
