SAN FRANCISCO, May 11, (THEWILL) – A total of 502 persons have recovered from the COVID-19 in Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria, after 33 more recovered Monday and were discharged from the treatment centers in the state.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of the state and chairman of the COVID-19 taskforce in Lagos, disclosed that twenty-four males and nine females were checkout of the facilities – Onikan – 17, Eti-Osa (Landmark 16).

Lagos has 1845 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, there are 4399 confirmed cases of the virus in the country with 25015 samples tested as at May 8, 2020.
