December 04, (THEWILL) – The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has highlighted Nigeria’s commitment to a comprehensive transition from fossil fuels to low-emission fuel across all sectors of the economy.
Keyamo gave the hint when he delivered a pivotal presentation at the African Pavilion, during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 28 UAE), in Dubai.
In a moment of privilege and honour, he officially launched Nigeria’s Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategy.
This document, serves as a testament to the nation’s unwavering dedication to achieving sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.
The event marked a significant milestone in Nigeria’s pursuit of a low-carbon future.
The Minister expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to global climate efforts and thanked all involved for their support in this crucial initiative.
