June 13, (THEWILL) – Fast-rising skit maker, Isaac Olayiwola, also known as Layi Wasabi, has apologized to Ekiti State chef, Damilola Adeparusi, for wishing her failure in her attempt to break Hilda Baci’s cook-a-thon record.
Adeparusi embarked on a 120-hour cook-a-thon journey a few days ago and the skit maker lashed out at her for daring to break Baci’s record.
“If your brand no fit talk am, my own brand fit, hence, if this attempt will take away the record from you, God will make her fail,” he had posted.
However, the skit maker has apologised for his post, stating that it was wrong of him to have made such an insensitive post.
“No matter how I felt yesterday, it was wrong to have wished Damilola failure.
“Dreams are unique to each individual. I publicly apologise to her and everyone that I have let down with such outrage. I believe we are all God’s children and God blesses all,” he wrote.
