BEVERLY HILLS, June 18, (THEWILL) – Seyitan Babatayo, the lady that accused the “kokomaster”, Dbanj of rape has refuted claims that she was arrested Tuesday by the police.
She denied she was ever arrested because of her claim barely 24 hours after investigative journalist, Kiki Mordi, revealed her arrest, saying she spoke to her lawyers.
But Seyitan Thursday tweeted this: “I’m done with all these back and forth drama…Frank took me to the party and gave me the key to the room. I’m moving on and leaving everything behind me. Thanks and God bless.
“I don’t know where all these rumors are coming from. Myself and my mom were not and have not been arrested.”
Kiki Mordi’s tweet Wednesday: “Seyitan accused D’Banj a couple of weeks before this article of sexual assault. Yesterday at about noon, Seyitan was and is still detained in Sodipo Ikeja and hasn’t been granted access to friends, family or lawyer.
“I spoke to her lawyers and they also have reason to believe she’s being coerced to recant her accusations but with no one having access to her, it’s difficult to ascertain! They have applied for bail and our fingers are crossed.”
