Chukwueze Scores But Bynoe-Gittens Leads Dortmund To Victory Over Milan

November 29, (THEWILL) – A Samuel Chukwueze goal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, proved insufficient for AC Milan, as Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens proved to be the star of the show, inspiring his team to a 3-1 win at San Siro.

The 19-year-old forward, not only won a penalty for his team, but also scored a crucial second goal, securing Dortmund’s spot in the knockout stages of the tournament.

The match got off to an eventful start, as Dortmund’s Marco Reus converted a 10th-minute penalty to punish AC Milan’s Olivier Giroud, who had earlier missed from the spot after he was brought down by Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck. Milan’s Chukwueze restored parity, but Bynoe-Gittens’ goal in the 59th minute and Karim Adeyemi’s goal in the 69th minute sealed the victory for the German side.

With this win, Dortmund now sits at the top of Group F with a three-point lead over Paris St Germain, who drew 1-1 against Newcastle. The Italian side, on the other hand, remains at the bottom of the group but still has a chance to finish in second place if they defeat Newcastle in their final group game next month.

Despite a spirited effort from Milan, who hit the post through Luka Jovic, they were unable to overcome Dortmund’s dominant performance. The German side’s young star Bynoe-Gittens, who has now scored two goals in two games, proved to be the difference maker in this crucial match.
