September 30, (THEWILL) – Chelsea Football Club have confirmed a new shirt sponsorship agreement with technology company, Infinite Athlete. The deal will see the Infinite Athlete logo feature on the club’s kits for the 2023/2024 season.
After ending their previous deal with Three, Chelsea spent several months searching for a replacement sponsor. With no agreement confirmed before the new season, the club were forced to release their latest kits without a sponsor logo. However, ahead of their seventh English Premier League match, Chelsea have now finalised terms with Infinite Athlete.
The branding will make its debut when the women’s team face rivals Tottenham in the Women’s Super League on Sunday. Mauricio Pochettino’s men’s side will then sport the new logo for their league clash against Fulham on Monday night.
Chelsea chief executive, Chris Jurasek, expressed delight in partnering with Infinite Athlete. He highlighted the company’s potential to “revolutionise football” through advanced data analytics. This could provide players, coaches and fans with greater insights.
Replica kits featuring the Infinite Athlete sponsorship will be available for fans to purchase in the near future.
