January 27, (THEWILL) – Yeni Kuti, daughter of late Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, has revealed that she cannot leave her marriage because of a cheating spouse.
She made this known while speaking on TVC morning programme, ‘Your View’. According to her, cheating is not a deal breaker for her in marriage.
She will rather look away if her spouse cheats with a fellow woman. But the only deal breaker is if her partner engages in homosexuality.
Kuti, also made reference to how her late father married several women, yet, her mother didn’t leave.
”For me, cheating is not a deal breaker. My father had 27 wives, my mother didn’t go. I am not saying she was happy, but she didn’t leave.
“My own deal breaker is if I find out my own partner is sleeping with another man. That is my deal breaker. I will run, they wouldn’t even beg me. I will run.”
