February 13, (THEWILL) – In a bid to boost the fortunes of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, the Chief Akin Ricketts Campaign Organisation, Grassroots Unit, has kick-started its door-to-door campaign.
The one-week exercise is intended to sensitise the people at the grassroots of the programmes of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Ugep area of Yakurr Local government, Cross River State and is championed by its BOT Chairman, Engr Ekundayo David Ricketts.
Kick-starting the exercise on Saturday, February 11, 2023, the BOT Chairman, Engr Ekundayo David Ricketts and the group President, Comr. Williams Alex Ofem, paid a courtesy visit to the Obol Kepon of Aboni Community in Ijiman, Ugep, His Highness Obol Akin Ricketts.
Before the Obol Kepon of Aboni, His Highness Obol Akin Ricketts, who is the grand-patron of the Carco G-Unit and the Council of chiefs, the group expressed its desire for a better and more developed Ugep nation, where opportunities will be available for the Youths.
The Obol Kepon of Aboni, His Highness Obol Akin Ricketts, received the group with much enthusiasm and extended his royal blessings to them.
He charged them to always remain good ambassadors of the Ugep nation.
