CAF Partners With Global Sports To Attract Top Talent, Grow African Football

July 11, (THEWILL) – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a new partnership with Global Sports to support the attraction and hiring of top African and international talent to help deliver the future of football across the African continent.

The collaboration will strengthen Global Sports’ mission of “empowering opportunity through sport” by growing its commitment to delivering amazing careers in sport across Africa.

CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba, was excited about the growing interest in African football from people all over the world. “African football is amongst the most exciting content globally,” he said. “We aim to be the best.” Mosengo-Omba also highlighted the progress that CAF has made in repositioning its product and image over the past two years, including creating a culture based on ethical conduct and credibility.

Global Sports CEO, Will Lloyd, noted his company’s commitment to ensuring greater quality and diversity of talent for its partners across the sports industry. He said: “Africa has a population of over 1 billion people and a strong sporting heritage. Through this new collaboration with CAF, we can provide a transparent, quality-focused partnership to deliver amazing careers through sport in Africa.”

The partnership between CAF and Global Sports promises to bring new opportunities for talented individuals to contribute to the growth and development of football on the continent.
