SAN FRANCISCO, July 31, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, received traditional leaders from the southwest, led by the Ooni of Ife, in his office at the Presidential villa.
The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) are also at the meeting.
One of the focus points of the meeting is to discuss the security situation in the southwest.
THEWILL notes that there has been an increase of banditary, kidnapping and killings in the region with Fulani herders accused of perpetuating the crimes.
