SAN FRANCISCO, May 24, (THEWILL) – Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) has been assigned a new Executive Director by President Muhammadu Buhari in the person of Mr. Uja Tor Uja.
A Tuesday statement from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, which announced Uja’s appointment with immediate effect said, the he would serve for 5 years.
The former occupant of the post, Mr. John Kennedy-Opara was removed last week by the President.
“Mr. Uja graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from University of Lagos in 1981.
“He obtained Master’s Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from University of Jos in 1987.
“Before his appointment, Mr. Uja was a Commissioner of Commerce and Industries, Hon. Commissioner of Information and Social Development, Benue State and Benue State PFN Chairman,” the statement said.
