Boko Haram Hits Maiduguri Unperturbed By Buhari’s Visit

BEVERLY HILLS, March 14, (THEWILL) – Suspected Boko Haram insurgents, on Wednesday night, attacked Alikaramchi village, close to Giwa barracks in Maiduguri, capital of Borno state, hours after President Muhammadu Buhari left Maiduguri for Yobe state.

THEWILL recalls that Buhari had met with family members of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls in Borno and visited Yobe state government house and Government Girls Science and Technical School, Dapchi, where he met with families of the 110 students kidnapped on February 19.

However, the insurgents, in a suicide attack struck around 9:10pm.

Although, Security agencies are yet to react to the attack, locals say eight persons sustained injuries in the attack while the two suicide bombers were killed.
