BIPC Staff Jubilate Over Payment Of Seven Months Arrears, 13th Month Salary

December 21, (THEWILL) – There was jubilation as Governor Hyacinth Alia approved the payment of seven months salary arrears owed staff of the Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC).

The Governor also approved the end-of-year special bonus, otherwise known as the “13th month” as well as four months allowances for all the staff of the company in the spirit of the Yuletide season.

In a statement in Makurdi on Thursday, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, on behalf of Management and Staff, registered their collective sentiment of gratitude to the Governor for putting smiles on the faces of the staff and brightening the atmosphere of the workplace, adding that “there is no better motivation than this”.

The MD/CEO particularly thanked the Governor for believing in his leadership and the ability of the members of staff to transform the company into a global investment destination with ease of doing business.

He, therefore, called on all staff members to give their best in utmost dedication to duty as a response to the kind gesture extended to them by the Governor.
