January 17, (THEWILL) – Some football’s biggest stars, have collaborated with sportswear giant Adidas to design the latest edition of their iconic Predator boot. England internationals Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alessia Russo, have all provided input into the Predator 24, bringing a modern perspective to the classic boot.
However, Adidas were keen to maintain the Predator’s historic legacy, consulting France legend, Zinedine Zidane and former England captain, David Beckham, both synonymous with the boot during their illustrious playing careers in the 1990s and 2000s. Their philosophies have helped shape the new Predator’s “DNA”, says Adidas football footwear category director, Mahsa Aryan.
She stressed the importance of blending insights from current and former players to create a product balancing modern innovation with traditional craftsmanship. Aryan said the ongoing dialogue helps Adidas understand the ever-evolving game and what players specifically need to excel amid its increasing dynamism.
Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold are already reaping the rewards of their input, thriving this season wearing the iconic boots. Bellingham has scored 17 goals in 24 games for Real Madrid, while Alexander-Arnold has provided eight assists for Liverpool with his trademark crossing ability.
The Predator boot is one of football’s most recognisable symbols, worn by megastars like Zidane and Beckham and now Bellingham continues that tradition. By combining perspectives from past and present, the Predator 24 brings its iconic legacy into the future.
