SAN FRANCISCO, September 28, (THEWILL) – The fundraiser initiated for disqualified BBNaija housemate, Erica, has hit N25.3 million which is just N4.7 million less than Laycon’s cash prize.
THEWILL had reported that her disqualification had come after she flouted Big Brother house rules by threatening a housemate and interfering with the production process.
Following her exit, her fans, the ‘Elites’ as they call themselves, opened a GoFundMe account for her to help her achieve “her hopes and aspirations.”
“For Erica Nlewedim, the star of BBNaija season 5, Lockdown edition whose journey on the show came to an emotional end – To realize some of her hopes and aspirations,” the post on the platform read.
After Laycon clinched the N30 million cash prize on Sunday night at the close of the show, Erica’s fundraiser had already amounted to $66,510 (N25, 307,055 at N380.50 per dollar).
