SAN FRANCISCO, September 18, (THEWILL) – European champions, Bayern Munich, Friday confirmed the departure of Spanish midfielder, Thiago Alcantara to Liverpool after seven years at the German club.
According to reports, Liverpool shelled £27 million for the midfielder who has agreed a four-year deal.
“I can confirm that Bayern have reached a final agreement with Liverpool,”
Bayern chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, told Bild Live.
“It was Thiago’s wish to do something different towards the end of his career.”
