
September 14, (THEWILL) – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday, arrived Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, for a meeting with party executives in the State.
He was received by the State’s deputy governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal.
The former vice president’s flight touched down at about 11:03 am and was received by Deputy Governor Lawal on behalf of his principal, Governor Seyi Makinde, who was attending an official assignment at the time.

The former Vice-President will hold a town hall meeting with Party stakeholders while he is in Ibadan.
As part of his consultative meeting, Atiku is also expected to personally meet with Seyi Makinde, one of the aggrieved governors and allies of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
The governors have called for the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu.
