June 10, (THEWILL) – The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) Movement has felicitated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his emergence as the flag bearer of the party for the 2023 general elections
In a statement issued in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital and signed by its national Chairman, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku and the Ogun State Director General, Otunba Femi Soluade, ABAT Movement said it was proud to associate with Tinubu over his victory
The group stated that it believes the choice of former governor of Lagos state, as the right candidate of the ruling All Progressive Party (APC) to change the fortune of the country and take it to the promised land if elected the president of the country come 2023.
ABAT Movement said that it was delighted to have deployed all arsenal at its disposal in Ogun State towards projecting Tinubu for the job, noting that it never regretted such endeavour in making sure that he became the flag bearer of APC for the next elections
“When we resolved to make you our principal and preferred candidate for the number one job in the country. This puts all our arsenal into use in the State to project you and canvass for people’s support for you, which was widely acknowledged throughout the nooks and crannies of the Gateway State.
“Of a fact, we commend your doggedness, resilience and mastery of the political terrain of Lagos State, the South West and by extension, the entire Nigeria, as obviously demonstrated in the just concluded APC presidential primaries, which further proclaims you as the “Generalissimo of the Nigeria’s politics.”
The group, who expressed confidence that Tinubu’s presidency, when eventually declared winner of the 2023 election, would enshrine an unparalleled achievements and track records that will undoubtedly catapult Nigeria to most viable largest economy in Africa, going by his past track records of achievement as the former governor of Lagos State.
“We have no iota of doubt that you will bring the same to bear in the entire Nigeria, which all of us will be proud of in no distant future from the moment you assume office as the President of Nigeria and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic.”
It, however, prayed that God grants the APC National leader the needed sound health, strength and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the country to an enviable height among the comity of nations in the world.
