Another Nollywood Actress Dies

BEVERLY HILLS, June 24, (THEWILL) – Veteran Nollywood actress, Shafkat Bose Adewoyin, is dead. She died on Tuesday morning and was also buried that same day, according to reports.

The late dancer and costume technician was renowned for her role as Madam Tinubu in ‘EFUNROYE TINUBU’ written by Professor Akinwumi Isola and directed by Gbenga Adewusi in 1989. She was also a part of the contingent of the Lagos State Council of Arts and Culture that featured inFunmi Odusolu’s famous dance musical ‘ORÍ’ (Destiny).

THEWILL reports that the deceased featured as Mama Oni Mama with Adebayo Salami in Funke Akindele’s “Omo Ghetto”.
