Angry Customers Call Out Polaris Bank Over Poor Service Delivery

December 07, (THEWILL) – A wide range of Polaris Bank customers is not happy with the financial institution, following cases of non-reversal of wrong debits, hanging transfers, etc.

While some are threatening to pull out of the bank, others have taken to social media to vent their anger.

A lady, Bola Valentine, via her verified Twitter handle, @BolaChidinma, complained that she was debited N56,000 at 1:48 pm on December 5, 2022.

As of 6:36 pm the following day, the money which was meant for the payment of a debt to one Egememu Daniel Chim, could not be delivered.

Expressing her frustration, Bola tweeted on 5th December, stating that “this is a debit of yesterday and the recipient did not receive a credit alert.”

Similarly, Chef Maggie had a similar complaint on 6th December. According to Chef, “@PolarisBankLtd will not kill me and my business, I had a Pos issue of N8,200 at a gas station, the money was reversed after three weeks; checked my account statement today after seeing N-4,400 on my account, they debited the money dat was reversed.”

Ayodele Olufemi on December 6, 2022, also tweeted that “@PolarisBankLtd please I did a transaction of N3,000 last night which wasn’t successful. Please refund my money as soon as possible.”

Another customer, Josephine, had this to say on December 7, 2022, “They’re thieves and they keep stealing from us, my N4,100 is still stuck with them they didn’t reply neither do they provide a solution.”

Shawn Bliss was more hilarious, according to the customer “This bank is searching for a customer experience expert that will attend to me, so if you are interested please apply to @PolarisBankLtd

Another customer who simply identified himself as Nee, tweeted “This bank really needs dragging… I’m currently having a bad experience with them.”

While expressing his anger, Familoye Kayode wrote “I’m calling you guys out here cos of my money, I’ve been to the bank, I’ve sent several complaints over the mobile app, I’ve tried talking to you guys through your social media handles and really, you guys are just useless in attending to your customers.

“They are nothing but a bunch of liars. They even lied to my face that they’ve reversed my money and I didn’t see shii.”

Advising other bank customers, Oluta wrote, “They keep assuring but they’re doing nothing to refund customers’ money…I won’t advise anyone to open an account with them…Never!”
