BEVERLY HILLS, March 18, (THEWILL) – Hollywood actress and director, Angelina Jolie, says she is “ready to offer proof of domestic violence testimony” as her divorce from actor husband, Brad Pitt heads to a court trial.
Jolie once reportedly accused Brad of getting physical with their teen son, Maddox, during a 2016 argument on a private jet. However, Brad denied this claim.
The Sun UK reported that Angelina had filed court papers on March 12 to “offer proof and support” of “testimony regarding domestic violence.”
Jolie and Brad are parents of Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne and according to the report the actress also offered “proof” in support of their minor children testifying at trial.
A different filing from Angelina includes “intent to offer video recording of the deposition”.
THEWILL writes that Jolie filed for divorce from Brad in September 2016 due to irreconcilable differences, after two years of marriage and 12 years together.
The estranged couples have been divorced since 2019 but the upcoming trial is to determine custody of their children and to divide their estate.
