Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Obari Ngelale, has called out to the public to do something nice for strangers in celebration of his birthday, November 13.
The prominent political figure and media personality took to his page on X (formerly Twitter), In a heartfelt post, to express gratitude to well-wishers on his birthday.

His message carried a unique request, turning the spotlight away from himself and onto the power of collective kindness. Ngelale encouraged the public to embrace the spirit of generosity by doing something exceptionally nice for a stranger. The post resonated with a call for universal benevolence, urging individuals to extend their acts of kindness, preferably towards a Nigerian, but without limitations.
The post read, “Thanks to all of my family and friends who have wished me a happy birthday today. Your gift to me is to do something very nice for someone you don’t know today. Shock them and make a stranger happy. Preferably a Nigerian person you don’t know, but we don’t discriminate.🇳🇬”
Ngelale, a broadcast journalist, began his career during his national youth service at Africa Independent Television (AIT), later staying on as an investigative reporter and assuming roles as news editor, producer, and presenter until 2016.
After which, he joined Channels Television, co-anchoring ‘Sunrise Daily’ and producing ‘Africa’s Future Leaders’ in collaboration with the US Mandela Washington Fellowship.
In 2019, he transitioned to lead media content production for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Next Level Presidential Campaign, ultimately becoming President Buhari’s Senior Special Adviser on Public Affairs until 2023. Post-election, he took on the role of co-principal spokesperson for the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential campaign in October 2022.
Ngelale, known for his media presence on national and international platforms, was later appointed as President Bola Tinubu’s official spokesperson in July 2023.
