BEVERLY HILLS, February 13, (THEWILL) – Mrs. Aisha Buhari Wednesday returned to the campaign trail more than a month after she made her last public appearance following an undisclosed ailment.
Mrs. Buhari, who spoke in Katsina during a campaign event hosted by the APC, Women and Youth Presidential Campaign Team, the group which she founded to help her husband’s reelection campaign, said she was ill and put on bed rest by her doctors, confirming THEWILL’s exclusive report on her unusual hiatus.
She urged voters to support the president’s reelection saying he would continue his good works… “If not President Buhari, who else,” she told the crowd.
Buhari is locked in a close election with his main challenger, Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president. The vote will hold this Saturday nationwide.
