BEVERLY HILLS, March 21, (THEWILL) –Â Tragedy was averted in the Nigerian aviation industry on Sunday when an Aero Contractor flight bound for Lagos was struck by birds.
A source told THEWILL Sunday afternoon that the plane was struck less than 10 minutes after take-off from the Kano International Airport.
The source said the plane flew back to the airport and landed safely.
However, the damage to the plane was said to have been so much that the plane could not continue to Lagos.
