BEVERLY HILLS, April 21, (THEWILL) – Popular Nigerian comedienne, Ada Jesus, has died.
The 22-year-old comedienne died on Wednesday in an Abuja hospital.
She was reportedly rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night after she suffered a cardiac arrest.
Ada Jesus had become a patient in the hospital after she was diagnosed with kidney disease.
Her deteriorated health bred suggestions she might have offended some forces, and she asked for forgiveness from those she had spoken ill of in the past, including a popular pastor, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumejeje, and Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie.
There were speculations that the ailment was as a result of Ada levying an accusation against the prophet. And even her family took her to the church to seek forgiveness.
The Prophet, however, vowed not to forgive her until she brought proof to back her claim of him organising people to give fake testimonies. He accused the comedienne of using false accusations on social media to tarnish his image.
Nollywood actress, Edochie, was present in the video and was heard vowing not to forgive the comedienne.
But the prophet and actress later released videos where they openly forgave Ada Jesus, with the clergyman making a donation of N1 million for her treatment.
