November 28, (THEWILL) – The duo of Nollywood actresses, Yewande Bakare and Habibat Jinad, have resumed their messy fight on social media after four years.

Jinad was the first to call out her colleague, Bakare, accusing her of disturbing her peace by badmouthing her.

According to her, Bakare has been badmouthing and ruining her reputation based on false rumours.

She added that many of those who had declared interest in helping and supporting her, have been told not to do so by Bakare.

Jinad pleaded with her to allow her live for her son’s sake and to consider her mental health.

“Pls I just want to live for the sake of my son. I am passing this information to my colleagues in the industry. I hear rumours about me in the industry, allow me live for my son.

“Consider my mental health. Yetunde Bakare, what you did is too much, you have begged me, but that thing keeps coming back.

“Lots of people want to help me, when they ask about me, you say ‘no go area’, you spoil my name.

“Did I kill someone?

“I am begging you for the sake of my son. Please and please, I’m begging you in the name of God. I have fought so many battles and I’m still standing.

“I have been broken, destroyed, rejected and abandoned, but I am still walking proud. Please let me live in peace for the sake of my son.”

Bakare also made a video, where she slammed Jinad for calling her out.

She alleged that Jinad was holding on to a misunderstanding that happened four years ago.

Bakare, added that someone had lied against her to Jinad and she had called Jinad to set things straight.

Rather than letting go of it, she opened up old wounds and started painting her in a bad light.

She made it clear that she isn’t afraid to fight. And she does not run away from it, but for her son’s sake, she would ignore it.

“When I watched the video, I relaxed because I didn’t want to talk as I was angry. Habibat is talking about something that happened four years ago.

“Something happened between us, someone told her that I said something and I called her and we spoke about it.

“I am not afraid to fight and I don’t run away from it.

“Out of respect for my son, for the people around me and for the fact that I really know you, I decided to be the bigger person”, she stated.
