September 15, (THEWILL) – Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has paid a visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan, in furtherance of his consultation with stakeholders and national leaders.
Obi, who shared photos of the visit on his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, said he met with the former president to exchange views and discuss serious issues of national interest.
He wrote, “I recently visited my senior brother, H.E. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to exchange views on an array of serious national interest questions.”
Earlier, the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, had visited Jonathan in Abuja, to seek support for his presidential ambition.
Obi had also visited former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, earlier this year and met with him also in London recently.
