May 24, (THEWILL) – West Ham defender, Kurt Zouma, has admitted to kicking and slapping his pet cat.
Zouma appeared before Thames Magistrates’ Court in east London on Tuesday morning and pleaded guilty to two charges under the Animal Welfare Act.
After frightening evidence was taken and uploaded by his younger brother, Yoan, who acknowledged to one offence at the hearing, Zouma was obliged to apologise.
In a tumultuous arrival at court, the Hammers defender was escorted by six security men who emerged from a truck holding umbrellas to form a protective shield around the 27-year-old defendant.
The residential addresses of Zouma and his 24-year-old brother have been withheld following a court order.
