BEVERLY HILLS, December 22, (THEWILL) – The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, CP Bola Longe has suspended all casual leave and directed officers of the command to be on alert for any form of criminality during the festive season.
The CP gave the directives to Police Officers during a briefing of Senior Police Officers, Heads of Departments and Divisional Police Officers at the Police Command headquarters in the state.
The Command has also deployed about four thousand, two hundred Police personnel to enhance visibility policing and ensure a peaceful yuletide in the state.
Longe, however, reminded the public of the ban on the use of unauthorized fireworks as he warned that Police personnel would be out to arrest anyone who violated the order.
