June 13, (THEWILL)- The president of DPA Family Clinic, Emeka Ugwuonye, who is the legal representative of May Edochie, has claimed that her estranged husband, Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has stopped caring for his children with his estranged wife.
In a recent Instagram live session, Ugwuonye claimed Yul abandoned his children with May.
Ugwuonye also alleged that the movie star directed his children to meet May to cater to their needs, arguing that she makes more money than him. The lawyer claimed Yul committed a crime by marrying Judy, adding that the actor’s union with May is under the marriage act.
“If you have a marriage under the Marriage Act and try to marry a second one, that is a crime”, he said.
“Yul is not supporting his children as we speak. He is not at all. Yul told his daughter that their mother is making more money than him now.
“Can you imagine?
“So now, you are going into polygamy and you cannot take care of the children? You want to try polygamy?
“So please do not compare the two.”
Last month, their divorce case was adjourned because Yul’s lawyer was absent due to health issues.
It would be recalled that May filed for divorce from Yul and demanded N100 million in damages after the actor unveiled Judy Austin as his second wife in April 2022 and also announced their first child together.
