He noted that some previous beneficiaries of the forum’s scholarship initiatives had completed their training and secured jobs in the aviation industry.

He described the latest scholarship offer as part of the forum’s commitment to connecting young people with opportunities in aviation, tourism and hospitality.

According to him, many young Nigerians aspire to pursue aviation careers but are unable to afford the professional training required to enter the industry.

“This is not just about attending an event; it is about creating real opportunities for our young people. Many youths are passionate about aviation and have the ambition to acquire professional training, but financial constraints often stand in their way. These scholarships will give some of them the opportunity to take that important first step”, he stated.

The scholarship initiative adds to the activities of the 14th YTHLF, which is expected to bring together students, young leaders, industry professionals, government representatives and other stakeholders to explore opportunities in tourism and hospitality.

Since its establishment, the forum has focused on youth empowerment, career development and promoting tourism, aviation and hospitality as viable pathways to employment and economic growth.

The aviation scholarships are expected to be one of the highlights of this year’s edition, offering selected participants an opportunity to pursue professional training and potentially begin careers in the sector.
