The President highlighted Shettima’s distinguished professional career in the banking sector before he entered politics and subsequent rise through public office.
THEWILL recalls that Shettima had served as Governor of Borno State from 2011 to 2019 and later represented Borno Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly before emerging as Tinubu’s running mate in the 2023 presidential election.
