BEVERLY HILLS, October 20, (THEWILL) – The World Bank Group has granted Nigeria a loan of $3bn for its ailing power sector.

Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed announced the development Sunday during a chat with Nigerian journalists covering the 2019 Annual Meetings of the IMF and World Bank Group in Washington DC.

She said the loan will help expand power generation and distribution.
