Wizkid Pays Tribute To Davido’s Late Son At Madison Square Garden Concert

November 17, (THEWILL) – Ayo Balogun, aka Wizkid, honoured David Adeleke, also known as Davido, during his last concert at Madison Square.

The singer staged a sold-out concert on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the 20,000-capacity sitting auditorium at Madison Square Garden, New York, United States.

In the course of his performance, which has been hugely applauded, he paid tribute to the memory of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who died on November 1, 2022.

He played Davido’s hit song, ‘Dami Duro’ and observed 20 seconds of light out, which was done in complete silence.

This development is coming a few months after it was alleged that Davido and Wizkid are not best of friends.

Wizkid also got a plaque for becoming the first African to stage a sold-out concert in one month.

Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, died after drowning in the singer’s swimming pool in his Banana Island home.
