February 15, (THEWILL) – The Wind Dynasty has felicitated the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ehwrujakpor, on their successful second-term inauguration.
The group, In a congratulatory message signed by its leader, the former Chief Whip of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr Jonathan Robinson Obuebite, also thanked the leadership and chieftain of the party at the state and national levels, members of the National and State Assembly and the entire people of Bayelsa state for their support towards the administration in the past four years and the fresh mandate given to the Governor and his Deputy.
He submitted that Governor Diri has been able to unite and transform the state in the past four years, hence the overwhelming victory during the last governorship election.
Hon Obuebite also stated that the array of personalities that graced the inauguration ceremony is a further testament to the fact that Governor Diri is well-loved by people within and outside the shore of Bayelsa State.
“I want to specially thank President Bola Tinubu for sending his Vice, Sen. Kashim Shetima, to represent him likewise the President of Liberia, Joseph Boakai, who was ably represented by his Vice.
“Also, may I use this medium to thank all the Governors, Senators, Ministers, and all top government functionaries and captains of industry for attending the inauguration.
“I would like to reiterate a phrase from the inauguration speech of His Excellency, ‘I am now standing on two legs, and our people should expect more transformation in my second term in office’.
“The Governor has surpassed his set target during his first tenure of 1.0. The record achieved during 1.0 will be leveraged in 2.0.
“I assure the Governor and his Deputy of the unalloyed support of the Wind Dynasty.
“On behalf of the Wind Dynasty, I want to congratulate you and your Deputy on the successful inauguration ceremony.
“The successful second-term inauguration is a feat that is worth felicitation, noting your contributions and that of your administration to the socio-economic growth of Bayelsa state.
“In the past four years, you have been able to unite and change the narratives of the state.
“As a formidable political family, we will continue to support your various policies as well as ensure the success of your administration,” he said.
