August 14, (THEWILL) – Former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Mike Edwards, has revealed the reason he saved his colleague, Seyi Awolowo, from eviction last week.
Seyi and Francis Princess were up for eviction last week, but Princess was the unfortunate one to be evicted from the reality show.
She was evicted after the three-man jury made up of Mike Edwards, Dorathy Bachor, and Bisola Aiyeola, voted for her unanimously.
The eviction didn’t go down well with many viewers of the show, as Seyi, who secured the least votes, was saved from eviction.
In another twist on Sunday night, during the live eviction show, Seyi was saved again after two of the juries voted to keep him on the reality show.
While fans were reacting to the fact that Seyi was saved again, Mike took to his Instagram page to share reasons he saved Seyi, stressing that he would continue to save him whenever he is up for eviction.
He posted a Whatsapp chat between himself and Seyi, where a favour was done for him in the past.
Mike revealed that saving Seyi from eviction was a way of reciprocating the favour he had done for him in the past.
In the chat, Mike was stranded at the airport because he missed his flight and had to wait for another flight.
Seyi asked him to drop by his house so he can rest and plan his next move.
Mike captioned the chat: “As e dey come down, we dey push am back up”.
