July 24, (THEWILL) – The trio of Victoria Adeyele, aka Vee, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha and Christiana Ojumu, also known as Christy O, have reacted to the Big Brother Naija All-Star edition, which kicked off on Sunday.
The 8th edition of the reality show kicked off on Sunday, July 23, 2023. 20 housemates were unveiled by the host of the show, Ebuka Obi Uchendu.
The All-Star season has past housemates contesting for the sum of N120 million in 72 days.
Reacting to her colleagues, who returned to the reality show for the second time, Vee expressed disgust at the reality show. She took to Twitter and posted a picture of Nollywood veteran actress, Patience Ozokwor and tweeted “Uncontrollable disgust”.
Tacha, a disqualified housemate during the season four edition of the reality show in 2019, also reacted to the All-Star season.
She revealed why she wasn’t part of the 20 housemates. According to her, the organisers were not willing to pay, as her price has gone up. “They no wan pay money nau. Price went up,” she tweeted.
The reality show star had earlier taken a swipe at the organisers after they stated that they were giving former housemates a second chance in the house.
Reacting to it, Tacha took a swipe at them while using the title of a telenovela movie, ‘Second Chance’. “Second Chance ko El Salvador ni,” she had tweeted.
Also commenting, Christy O, a former housemate of the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition in 2021, took to Twitter to express her surprise after the All-Star housemates were unveiled.
She stated that celebrities should not be trusted because some of her colleagues had vowed never to go on the reality show again but surprisingly, they are part of the 20 housemates.
“It’s funny how I’m seeing a lot of housemates that swore with their lives that they’d never go back for Big Brother. The show is toxic, yen yen yen but they wore the skinniest dress. Believe celebrities at your own risk,” she tweeted.
