June 01, (THEWILL) – The Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, Anambra State, has honoured the Chairman of Air Peace, Barrister Allen Onyema, with a Benefactor Award, for his outstanding contributions towards the development of the hospital.

Spokesperson for Air Peace, Stanley Olisa, in a statement on Thursday, said the award was announced at the commissioning of the NAUTH permanent site.

Receiving the award, Onyema expressed gratitude to the Board and Management of the teaching hospital.

“It is our collective responsibility to advance the cause of humanity and I urge organisations and individuals to contribute to developing our nation through strategic CSR interventions. This is what Air Peace is doing and will continue to do for societal advancement”, he said.

Onyema had donated a big 550 KVA power-generating set to the teaching hospital in 2019, as a way of supporting the Federal Government in its drive to give facilities in the nation’s health sector a facelift.
