December 06, (THEWILL) – Two persons have died after a motorcycle collided with a truck at Oni and Sons Bus Stop, off Arigbajo, along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway Ogun State.
The crash involved a Bajaj motorcycle with registration number TRE301VV and Iveco Truck with registration number KNN357ZY
Eyewitness account said that lack of concentration on the part of the motorcyclist made him lose control of the bike resulting in the accident.
The Spokesperson of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps,TRACE, Babatunde Akinbiyi confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta.
Akinbiyi said that four persons(male) were involved in the auto crash where two died and two others did not sustain any injury
He said that the cause of the accident was as a result of lack of concentration and loss of control of the motorcycle by the rider.
The TRACE PRO said that his officials and that of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, were on ground for rescue operations
Akinbiyi added that the two corpses had been deposited at the morgue of Ifo General Hospital by men of the FRSC
