Tope Adebutu Upbeat as She Clocks 40

Tope Adebutu, the daughter of billionaire businessman and Premier Lotto founder, Chief Kessignton Adebutu, is 40 years old today. The buxomly lady who was briefly married to Olujonwo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has embraced the gift of life and is upbeat about her new age and what lies ahead of her.

Although she is still not married, that is presently the least of her problems, considering how her fairy-tale marriage collapsed 13 months after it was contracted and the attendant drama that accompanied the separation, which was characterised by allegations of violence, abandonment and adultery.

Tope’s only regret stems from the untimely demise of her late mother, Princess Rosemary Obiageli Dacosta-Adebutu who died on January 10, 2021. She would have loved to have her mother by her side to witness her aging with grace, but life being a roller coaster of emotions won’t afford her that luxury.

A lawyer by training, Tope was a magistrate in the Ogun State ministry of justice until recently when she allegedly resigned her appointment after lamenting endlessly about her posting to remote areas and seeming deliberate delay of her promotion which was due years ago and her statutory entitlement.

It was also alleged that she had to scale some hurdles in the ministry because of her older brother, Ladi Adebutu, a governorship aspirant in the state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who was an opponent of the incumbent governor, Dapo Abiodun. No doubt, her new age will be the beginning of new things.
