January 02, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has approved the suspension of Mrs Halima Shehu, as National Coordinator and chief executive of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).
According to Channels Television, the President immediately approved Shehu’s suspension and directed an investigation into the allegation of financial fraud against her.
Meanwhile, the National Manager of the N-POWER Programme, Dr Akindele Egbuwalo, has been appointed in an acting capacity as NC/CEO pending the conclusion of the investigation.
President Tinubu appointed Shehu as NSIPA National Coordinator in October 2023.
