December 09, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with King Salman of Saudi Arabia, over the passage of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar Al Saud, who died in a plane crash.
The Saudi Arabian prince and the grandson of the first Saudi Monarch, King Abdulaziz, died at the age of 62.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu expressed sadness over the loss, recalling that the departed had served his homeland with dedication, especially while serving in the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Saudi Intelligence Agency.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commiserates with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman of Saudi Arabia, and the Royal House of Saud on the passing of His Highness, Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar Al Saud.
“Expressing grief at the loss, the President acknowledges the departed Prince’s excellent and dedicated service to his country throughout his outstanding career in the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Saudi Intelligence Agency.
“As his memory is forever etched in the annals of the Kingdom he loved dearly, the President prays God Almighty to grant repose to the soul of the departed, and comfort for the Royal House of Saud, the Kingdom, and all who mourn this irreparable loss”, the statement read.
