April 01, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Tuesday, April 2, for Dakar, to attend the inauguration of Senegal’s President-elect, Bassirou Faye.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday, by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
THEWILL reports that the trip is on the invitation of the Republic of Senegal, and it is the first time that President Tinubu will be visiting Senegal since assuming office on May 29, 2023.

President Tinubu, who is the Chairman Of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, will join other regional leaders to witness the inauguration at the Diamniadio Exhibition Centre on Tuesday.
The President will be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and other senior government officials.
He is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the inauguration.
