September 23, (THEWILL) – Nigerian Disk Jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has stated how much of an influence Trinidadian rapper, Nicki Minaj, is to her.
In a tweet on Friday, DJ Cuppy explained how Nicki Minaj influenced her love for the colour pink.
According to her, she fell in love with the colour after seeing Nicki Minaj’s video for the song, “Massive Attack”, in 2010.
Cuppy wrote, “I’ve never actually explained how I fell in love with the colour pink: well it was When Nicki did her debut video for “Massive Attack” I had never seen anything like it.
“12 years later and Nicki is still my biggest inspo. There would be no Cuppy without @NickiMinaj
Pink is known as DJ Cuppy’s signature colour as her hair, apartment, cars, and other belongings are of the same colour.
