September 13, (THEWILL) – The Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, has recognised the support popular Abuja-based socialite cum fashion designer, Seyi Adekunle, aka Seyi Vodi, give its members and for this, decided to honour him by appointing him their patron.
Led by the association’s president, Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin and Damola Olatunji, alongside other executives of the body, they visited the Vodi headquarters to present him with a certificate and formally make him their patron.
Responding to the honour, Seyi said, “It is always a pleasure to be recognised for one’s efforts. Sometimes, you never know people are watching but they really are.
“I want to thank TAMPAN for honouring me. I don’t take it for granted. My commitment is to continue to grow, evolve and build and to continue to help nurture and build others.”
Earlier in the year, the Muhammadu Buhari-led government bestowed on him the national honour of the Officer of the Order of the Niger, OON.
The national honour was in recognition of the legacy he has built over time in the fashion industry.
