According to the notice, the Federal High Court in Lagos granted Universal Insurance leave to commence proceedings against NAICOM and other respondents over what the insurer described as the “purported cancellation” of its licence and the receivership that followed.
According to INTERPOL, the operation ran from November 2025 to June 2026, bringing together law enforcement agencies from six continents to identify high-value criminal targets, trace illicit financial flows, seize criminal assets and support arrests and prosecutions.
