Global ride-hailing company Uber is winding down its operations in Nigeria after 12 years, ending its presence in one of Africa’s largest and most competitive transport markets.
The development follows what FAAN described as “constructive engagements” with Bolt to establish an agreeable and sustainable operational framework for e-hailing services within the airport environment.
The 24-year-old was initially included in Carlo Ancelotti’s first Brazil squad following the 2026 FIFA World Cup, giving him an immediate opportunity to return to the Seleção after missing out on the tournament itself.
