June 03, (THEWILL) – Six domestic top flight clubs are gearing up for the Super 6 playoffs, where they will compete for the national championship.
From June 3 to June 11, Enyimba, Rivers United, Bendel Insurance, Lobi Stars, Remo Stars, and Sunshine Stars will battle it out for the title. Bendel Insurance secured their place as the top team in Group A, while Rivers United finished first in Group B.
The playoff matches will be broadcasted on DSTV’s Supersport and streamed live on YouTube by The Nigeria Football Fund (TNFF). The Super 6 playoffs will kick off on Saturday, June 3, with Enyimba facing Remo Stars, Sunshine Stars taking on Rivers United, and Bendel Insurance clashing with Lobi Stars.
The tournament will continue with intense matchups throughout the week, leading up to the final matches on Sunday, June 11. Beyond the championship title, the second and third-placed teams will secure qualification spots in next season’s CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup competitions.
The Super 6 playoffs are set to provide an exciting spectacle for football enthusiasts as the top domestic clubs compete for glory and the opportunity to represent Nigeria on the continental stage.
