The duo of Minister of Water Resources and Environment, Engineer Suleiman Adamu and former Minister of State for Science and Technology, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi have been named among the 100 Living Environmental Professionals in Nigeria.
The recognition was given by TwoFourSeven Communications, a company based in Lagos State that specializes in recognizing top dignitaries who have contributed their quota to the development of the country. The two were honoured for their contribution to the environmental sector in the country and their dynamic initiative in paving new pathways and strengthening the growth in the environmental sector.
Part of the criteria used in choosing those who emerged on the list includes those who have developed advocacy which has shaped policies and changed major dynamics of interactions within the sector. And those who have mentored others within the sector. The two will be issued a certificate of recognition which will be presented in a few weeks.
